Diablo 4 gold new Story Launch Trailer showcases footage from new in-game cinematics, including extended scenes in the iconic Game Awards trailer.
Diablo 4 just revealed a trailer that featured completely new cinematic footage in the highly-anticipated ARPG. The scenes showcased within the new trailer tease some major story moments players will quickly experience in Diablo 4.
Players got an idea of Diablo 4’s first act throughout the beta weekend events, where they saw its premier chapter unfold. However, the first cinematic trailers for that ARPG stand out in the memories of numerous fans–especially the 2022 Game Awards trailer having a massive battle between Inarius, Lilith, as well as their respective armies.
Now, players have gotten an idea of a few of the other cinematics they are able to expect to see in Diablo 4. Some of the sequences shown were familiar to people who played within the beta, like the cutscene where Lilith arrives in Diablo 4's starting capital of Scotland - Nevesk. However, several new scenes are visible throughout the trailer, many of which seem to be in the full version of the climactic battle between your Church of Light followers and also the armies of Hell. From clips showing knights battling a huge demon, Inarius dealing with a powerful monster himself, and Reverend Mother Prava being overrun by enemies, players have been in for a significant ride within the full cinematic.
The Story Launch Trailer also shows snippets of other important story moments arriving in Diablo 4. Some of the most notable scenes include Lilith cornering a terrified knight using what appears to be an orange soul stone, Donan–a new major character in Diablo 4–facing down Lilith along with a Cerberus-riding demon in Scosglen alongside the ball player, and Neyrelle channeling magic and causing blue marks to look on her neck. While players don’t have the full context of these scenes, they certainly paint a powerful atmosphere for Diablo 4.
The trailer itself features heavy narration through the Bloodied Wolf–a mysterious figure which has caused much speculation among Diablo 4 fans–and is placed to “Nightmare” by music star Halsey. Like the Diablo 4 Gameplay Launch Trailer, which featured music by Billie Eilish, this teaser is similar to previews designed for blockbuster films.
Diablo 4’s launch is appropriately around the corner. Though the full release is soon, players can explore the dark corners of Sanctuary at the beginning of access starting on June 2. Unfortunately, Diablo 4 early access is locked behind the Digital Deluxe and Ultimate Editions. Even so, players who don’t buy the premium editions of Diablo 4 won’t need to wait long to see the grim tale on their own.
